Food & Hunger
- City Fresh- City Fresh is a joint initiative beteween the New Agrarian Center (NAC) and Ohio State University Cooperative Extension. The goal of City Fresh is to build a more just and sustainable local food system in Northeast Ohio. City Fresh seeks to meet the needs of both urban and rural communities by improving access to fresh locally grown food for urban residents and marketing opportunities in the city for local farmers.
- New Agrarian Center- The New Agrarian Center is committed to building a stronger and more sustainable regional food system in Northeast Ohio- a food system that promotes health in the broadest sense of the word: healthy land, healthy communities, healthy individuals, and a healthy economy.
- Food Not Bombs- Food Not Bombs is dedicated to ending hunger. We do this by collecting food that markets can't sell, cooking it, and sharing it with anybody who's hungry. There are hundreds of FNB groups worldwide. Cleveland FNB cooks every Sunday at 1pm, and brings the goods to Public Square or nearby at 4:30pm. We would love for you to cook and/or eat with us.
