  • Amnesty International at CWRU, CIA, and CIM- Founded in London in 1961, Amnesty International is a Nobel Prize-winning grassroots activist organization with over one million members worldwide. Activities range from public demonstrations to letter-writing, from human rights education to fundraising concerts, from individual appeals on a particular case to global campaigns on a particular issue. Amnesty International is a worldwide campaigning movement that works to promote all the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international standards.
  • Cleveland Coalition Against the Death Penalty- The Cleveland Coalition Against the Death Penalty (CCADP) is a diverse group of religious and secular organizations, and individual citizens, working to oppose all Ohio and federal executions and to abolish capital punishment in Ohio and the United States. We believe that no one should be put to death at the hand of any government. We bring this message to the public, and to public officials, through sidewalk protest vigils, leafleting, petitioning, media contact, an e-mail network, and our speakers' bureau.
