On Thursday, July 16, 2009, the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland (LASC) will host a legal clinic at the West Side Community House, 9300 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland 44102. Volunteer attorneys from Hahn Loeser & Parks and from Frantz Ward will provide FREE legal advice and possible referrals for low-income individuals and their families concerning civil legal issues like divorce, disputes with landlords, predatory lending, public benefits, and bankruptcy. LASC does not handle criminal cases. Doors will open at 5:00pm., and the clinic ends at 7:00 p.m.
Since 1905, the LASC has provided high quality legal assistance to low income clients. The mission of LASC is to secure justice and resolve fundamental problems, for those who are low income and vulnerable, by providing high quality legal services and working for systemic solutions.
